Eleonóra Beňová

After graduating from the Faculty of Education, Comenius University, in 2007 she successfully completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Management, Comenius University, with the thesis topic “Electronic education as part of the eEurope strategy and the possibilities of its application in the Slovak Republic”. The issue of e-learning has been actively addressed so far. She is the author of a short publication in this field, educational modules in e-learning portals, as well as the creator of a number of manuals on the use of ICT technology in education. Her video tutorials are also available on YouTube channels. She teaches bachelor’s degree courses: Computer Science, Information Systems and Application Software. Since 2002, she has been the chairman of the sports club of the ŠK FAMA faculty and is actively involved in the organization of the Physical Education course. In 2019, she took part in an Erasmus + Staff Mobility internship abroad at the University of Malaga in Málaga, Spain. She is involved in various projects in cooperation with the ERDC center, such as projects PRESENT, RESPECT WP11, RESPECT WP12 (Seventh European Union Program for Research, Technological Development and Demonstration Activities under Grant Agreement No. 285582), CONSENT, Consumer Sentiment on Privacy in User Services with Content in the Digital Economy, INFORM, Grant number EU: 763866, eBSN Personal Data Protection Project (GDPR) and interpretation of the new Directive 2016/680 through the preparation of high quality school materials. In her extracurricular activities, she works as a Facilitator on the national project of the Slovak Paralympic Committee “Sme si rovní” and also works as a lecturer at the GOPAS training center.
